Mass Movement to propagate Gandhian philosophy in J&K State: Bhat

Jammu,April 25 (Scoop News) –  Gandhi Peace Foundation in collaboration with Gandhi Global Family J&K will jointly launch mass movement to propagate Gandhian thought and philosophy to promote peace and awareness about preserving environment in the state, this was stated by Sushri Radha Bhat, Chairperson Gandhi Peace Foundation, New Delhi in a press conference here today.

 She said that Gandhi ji’s principles hold more relevance in the present times and there is need to promote his thoughts for strengthening peace process.

 Sushri Bhat also emphasised the need for protection of environment by preserving and making judicious use of our natural resources.

Sh. S.P Verma President Gandhian Global Family also addressed the media and gave all details of drive to strengthen the peace process.

 Romesh Sharma, National Coordinator Gandhi Peace Foundation, New Delhi and Dr. Ashwani Jogra, Spokesman Gandhi Global Family,  Medan Chelotra,  V. K. Kettel also among the prominent peace activists.

 During her visit to the State she held meetings with Governor  N.K. Vohra, R&B Minister  G.M. Saroori, DGP  Kuldeep Khoda and heads of various departments. She stressed on strengthening the initiative of the foundation by involving more people specially the youth in the state

 She also visited Rajouri and Poonch as a part of her tour and paid obeisance at Shah-dere-Sharief, Shri Budha Amarnath, Sri Nangali Sahib and prayed for peace in the state.
