Mata Shiva Bhagwati’s birthday celebrated at Akingam Achabal

 

Akingam/Anantnag, June 21 (Scoop News) – Trust Shri Shiva Bhagwati Asthapan, Akingam Achabal today organized a function in connection with Ashad Shuklapaksha Datya the Birthday celebration of Shri Mata Shiva Bhagwati, at Akingam today.

Minister for Public Enterprises, Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed participated in the function. A large number of devotees across the State had come to celebrate the function after two decades.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that Kashmir is incomplete without Kashmiri Pandit’s adding that Kashmir has remained abode of communal harmony. He stressed for strengthening centuries old brotherhood communal harmony in the State. He said that people feel the absence of  Pandit’s and appealed them to return to their native land which is heaven on earth and work together for the development and prosperity of the State. 

Referring the initiatives taken by the coalition government for return and rehabilitation of migrants, Peerzada said several measures have been taken for the betterment of the migrants. He said that migrant colonies have been setup in the Valley which he said speaks volumes about the seriousness of the Government for their return rehabilitation.

Responding to the demands put forth by the Trust Shri Shiva Bhagwati Asthapan, Akingam, the Minister announced construction of community hall out of Constituency Development Fund at Akingam equipped with modern facilities.

Referring to improvement in power scenario in Breng Kokernag constituency, Peerzada said that grid station at Sagam has been commissioned in December, 2011 which has improved the power supply in the area.

Making a mention to the developmental works of the area, the Minister said that improvement and upgradation of Bhagwati road has been sanctioned and work is apace. He said that Akingam hospital will soon be equipped with x-ray and ECG machines. He further said that ambulance service will also be provided to the hospital for the connivance of the patients.

Trust Shri Shiva Bhagwati Asthapan, Akingam Achabal thanked the District Administration Anantnag for their support in making the event successful.
