Matriculation Examination conduct at Police Coloney in Srinagar for 1st time

Srinagar, October 30(Scoop News) –Police Public School Bemina, Srinagar, Kashmir  has for the first time since its establishment conducted centers for the Annual BOSE Examination of 10th class.

          106 girl students from Iqbal Memorial School, Iqra Educational Institute and Tiny Buds School participated in the examination conducted for the 1st time in Police Public School Bemina for their 1st paper of tenth standard in two halls of Police Public School. There was good seating as well as heating arrangements for the students.

          Speaking on the side lines of the examination center, the Principal of Police Public School Tazim Wahidi highlighted the achievements of the school., said that the school was established in October 2000, and priority for admission is given to the poor students, students of the remote places, orphans and wards of police martyrs. 1040 students are enrolled in the school this year and classes from L.K.G to 12th standard with Medical, Non Medical and Commerce streams have been included. He said that the syllabus of different classes has been upgraded which is at par with the all leading schools of the valley. Special discount of 15% is given to the students on purchase of books while free uniform and books are provided to the 42 wards of police martyrs.

          Apart from excelling in the academics the school is also providing facilities for extra curricular activities to its students. The school has organized several functions and participated in the number of function. Environmental Awareness trips and Annual Day function were also conducted in the year 2009.
