Coming on the heels of the news of alien sightings by NASA yesterday, emerges the latest update on UFOs popularly called as the unidentified flying objects. On March 7, 2011, the National UFO Alert Rating System was updated giving the latest figures. Filed with the mutual UFO network, California, Texas and Michigan topped the list with respect to the unusual sighting reports countrywide.
The above three states reported the highest UFO sightings during the month of February, 2011. As a group, they retained the top UFO Alert 3 spot leaving the rest of the states behind.
Wondering which state among these three came out as the first serious contender for the maximum UFO sightings?It is undoubtedly the state of California that comprised maximum recordings of the unidentifying flying objects moving around and witness recounts sharing their own individual experiences that varied as per the nature of the sighting.
With an average of 13 cases reported in February, the states of Pennsylvania, Arizona, Florida, Washington and Illinois are placed in the UFO Alert 4 position. The states of New York and Kentucky were classified as watch states with an average of 11 cases of UFO sightings recorded.
Hence, overall California emerged as the clear topper among all the states with sixty seven UFO sightings followed by Texas in second position, with a total of $& sightings being recorded. It was followed by Michigan with 23 UFO sightings on an average.
