American Floyd Mayweather outwitted and out punched Englishman Ricky Hatton in MGM Grand Las Vegas Nevada. The two undefeated boxers started the fight with a brawl, a kind of street fight that dismayed the viewers. Every round was dominated by grappling, holding and some dirty tactics, shifting from the real boxing fight inside the ring.
Both fighters were aggressive and wanted to inflict damage to each other. But Mayweather was in his element and he brought his thrash talking into the ring by giving Hatton some boxing lesson. And by the 10th round, Mayweather surprised Hatton with a big left right into the jaw, causing Hatton to hit the canvas by choice. Hatton got up, because he knows that 15 thousand of his British fans traveled all the way from England just to support and cheers for him.
But the agility and the brave warrior in Hatton suddenly lost esteem because Mayweather was all over him and the referee stopped the fight. It was a knock out and Hatton failed his countrymen and his fans around the world. The fight was shown in 200 countries and of course earned millions of dollars for the Golden Boy Promotion of Oscar De la Hoya.
