McCain: I am the candidate of ‘Right Change’

As a means to salvage what is left of the GOP’s image several weeks ago, House Republicans had launched a message called “Change You Deserve.” This was spun from the message by presumptive Democratic nominee Senator Barack Obama of Illinois. For many months, Obama has called himself the candidate of “Change.” Many candidates had called themselves such a candidate.

It looks to be as if McCain is ready to square off against Obama in the general election race. Now, McCain is going to use the same message of change. But, McCain is going to launch is message of “Right Change.” McCain is going to spin on Obama’s message and call himself the candidate of right change.

McCain said that: “No matter who wins this election, the direction of this country is going to change dramatically. But, the choice is between the right change and the wrong change; between going forward and going backward.”

He plans to call for many reforms in many fields. At the same time, McCain will go against all ties between himself and current US President George W. Bush. McCain has a difficult balancing act because he and other members of the GOP want to distance themselves away from Bush. At the same time, they need Bush’s fundraising power.

McCain is prepared to go up against Obama. He admitted that Obama will be a tough opponent to go up against in the general election. While the presumptive nominees are set, Obama and McCain still have their fair share of individual obstacles.

The message of "Change" is going to be used a lot.
