The next meeting of the DF Democratic Committee is a week from tonight: Monday, April 28th, 7:30pm, at the Library. Please note the earlier start time and arrive promptly. This change is designed to get you home earlier, but the intended effect will only be realized with your cooperation.
The tentative agenda is shown below.
One of the items is sub-committee assignments. Our soon-to-be ratified bylaws call for three sub-committees (members so far in parenthesis):
Vacancies & Nominating (Bettina, Donna, Nancy D)
Voter Registration (Nancy D)
Fundraising & Events (Joy, Jane)
As I understand it, the first committee seeks, vets, and recommends individuals (1) to run for public office, (2) to fill district leader vacancies, and (3) to fill vacancies among our officers. The other committees seem to be unambiguous.
The bylaws require at least two members on each committee. If you will not be able to attend on Monday and would like to serve on one of these committees, please let me know.
