It seems that children’s book writing looks to be a trend amongst the daughters of presidential hopefuls and nominees. So far, the daughter of United States President George W. Bush, Jenna Hager, has taken a crack of being an author of children’s books.
However, one has not seen Chelsea Clinton, the daughter of former US President Bill and New York Senator Hillary Clinton. Perhaps Chelsea might take a crack at children’s book writing in the near future. So far, Meghan McCain, the daughter of presumed GOP nominee Senator John McCain of Arizona, is taking a crack at writing children’s books.
So far, Meghan McCain has a book set to be released on the first week of September. It will be on the same week as the GOP Convention in St. Paul, Minnesota. This may be interesting if this ends up taking attention away from McCain.
Republican Representative Ron Paul of Texas is still growing strong with his “Ron Paul Revolution.” So far, Paul plans to have a counter-rally at Minneapolis, Minnesota, during the same time as the GOP Convention.
The book by Meghan McCain will be on her father. She said: “This book will offer children the unique opportunity to see the character building events that happened over his lifetime, experiences that led up to his current bid to become the future President of the United States.”
Part of the proceeds will be given to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. This organization is charged with helping military personnel and veterans that suffer from brain injuries.
Meghan McCain, herself, has also become quite the blogger. During the GOP primary season, her blog has received quite so many hits. Perhaps Meghan McCain and Jenna Hager might end up being rival book authors in the near future.
