On 23 August 2008, the finals of Men’s Soccer of the Beijing Olympic Games 2008 between Argentina and Nigeria was a relative exciting one. But it was a goaless match at first and it was only until 58th minutes when Angel di Maria put in a convincing finished to another one of those very splendid magically moves by Soccer Star Lionel Messi.
Although this is the only goal for the match which ended the game with the scoreline of 1-0, but it is far enough for the Argentina Soccer Team to clinched the Gold Medal for this very highlighted and popular event of the Olympic Games.
Argentina got the champion whilst Nigeria settled for the Silver Medal and Brazil secured the Bronze after beaten Belgium 3-0.
