Last night, an auto accident on Interstate 270 in Rockville, Maryland took the life of 11 year-old Jasmine Warr. Her parents’ car was smashed from behind by a speeding Range Rover SUV. The SUV kept on driving, and now police are looking for Michael Dean Eaton who the believe was behind the wheel.
Police think Michael Dean Eaton drove a mile past the site of the accident when he left his car and continued on food. He had a number of minor driving violations including speeding, failing to yield and driving with an expired registration. Eaton is still on the loose and Maryland State Police encourage anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts to call 301-424-2101.
Jasmine Warr was pronounced dead at Shady Grove Hospital where another passenger in the car, Cortavia Harris, 11, was also treated for injuries. Police closed all express lanes of Interstate 270 while investigating the accident and searching for Michael Dean Eaton. The highway is now reopened.
