I was introduced to a book recently that changed me from the inside out. This book is entitled “Life Editing, Taking Out The Trash by Michael McCain. Michael McCain is best known as an author, ceo, speaker and life coach. Life Editing vol. 1 was introduced to the market back in July of 2012. Its reported with in the first week of its release over 500 copies went into print and were sold. Michael McCain calls is “My 30 Day Miracle”.
McCain candidly talks about taking a break from the publishing industry and how new changes in the way people publish has made it easier to get his work out and available and even talks about the mistakes he made as an author using print on demand press shops to put his first few books he penned into circulation.
McCain states: “If I had known what I was doing back then, as an author with some clear cut and defined goals I would have definitely made some better choices. I would have never used some local print shops to make and sell my books. My goal as an author was to be a bestselling author and using the method of those sales were not going to get me there. It wasn’t until I gained distribution for my books that I could see the benefit of being a published author. It put my books in the hands of people all over the world and not just in my local area”.
Life Editing was the first new project to hit the market in a while. It was the first major project that McCain wanted to make a success. While he did experience some level of satisfaction seeing better results, McCain admits “It’s not over yet”.
McCain was asked via text what his goal was for Life Editing and his answer was “If I could just move 5,000 copies of that book into the hands of lives that need to be changed I would be pleased.”
McCain also stated, “My ultimate goal with Life Editing is to change one million lives with the project. Having one million people read and apply what they learn and experience from the book. I wish they would share it with the world and help me get the message out that it’s time to TAKE OUT THE TRASH”.
