Florida businessman Mike Meehan has posted billboards around the Orlando Florida area that are causing quite a stir. They picture the burning World Trade Center towers beside the words "Please Don’t Vote for a Democrat." At least he asks politely.
Mike Meehan is using he billboard as an advertisement for his website www.therepublicansong.com which features a song called "Please Don’t Vote for a Democrat" which was written, performed and recorded by Mike Meehan himself.
"I’m holding the entire Democratic Party responsible for the attacks on 9/11," said Meehan who defends the use of the controversial WTC image as his freedom to exercise the first amendment. "Terrorism is a lot wider than just Iraq and Afghanistan." Mike Meehan continues. "You know, the war on terror is a lot more versatile than that, and the trade towers are just a sample and reminder of people — what we are actually going through. And I honestly think that the terrorists are actually in cahoots and involved also in the hijack — the high prices of the oil."
We’re not really sure what that last quote means here at GroundReport but if you’re taking your advice from Mike Meehan, a true American genius, than yes, Please Don’t Vote for a Democrat.
