Militants Attack NATO Base in Afghanistan, Killing 6 US Troops

PESHAWAR: Fighters of Jihadi organization Hezb Islami attacked military base of NATO in district Tagaab of Kapeesa province in Afghanistan in which heavy casualties reported. Fighters of Hezb Islami targeted the base with mortar guns, cannon and other heavy weapons. Several mortars hit inside the base. Attack was carried out at 9:00 pm on Tuesday night. “Six soldiers killed and five soldiers received sever injuries in the attack,” the spokesman from Hezb Islami claimed Several mortars hit the weapon amass (Depo) inside the base that immediately caught fire. The forces extinguished the flames by the help of airplanes. “Mujahideen received no damage during the action and safely escaped from the scene,” according to Hezb Islami’s spokesman.
