Valiant incharge line superintendent Muhammad Irfan WAPDA Kohat, when had received information regarding fault in WAPDA Tull transmission line on Saturday, along with other WAPDA technicians he had reached the trouble spot in official vehicle, he says that while repairing WAPDA transmission line fault in Paloosin Wazir area near Tull he and his colleagues were suddenly attacked by two armed Taliban militants, bearded militants with long hair have opened fire at them, bullets for few minutes were flying over them and then suddenly militants have stopped firing. Muhammad Irfan says that one militant came near them and have asked them to hand over the keys of their official vehicle, militant had inquired regarding incharge officer, Irafan says I told him I am the incharge officer of the crew, so the militant replied that come along with me you are my captive now, Irfan says I have started walking along with him as his captive, after taking few steps together suddenly the militant had said to Irfan, Haji sahib you may go back you are free now. Both the militants have taken away the official vehicle the keys of vehicle were already handed over to them.
Muhammad Irfan says he and his colleagues had reached Mamun Khur police check post in Tull eventually after walking on foot for quite a few miles, Paloosin Wazir area is under APA of lower Kurram agency so the FIR of the incident can be only registered with APA lower Kurram, he was told by police men. Doaba police were eventually came and have tried to find out the culprits but neither vehicle nor the militants were found, Irfan says he had faxed report of the incident to APA lower Kurram. So far militants are in possession of WAPDA official vehicle. WAPDA team lead by Irfan went to Tull to restore electric supply in the area, he says due to the militants attack electric supply is not yet restored to the Ghiljo area of Orakzai agency adjacent to Tull.
