Militants shot & severely injured a Sarpanch in Sopore,Kashmir

Srinagar,July 26 (Scoop News)- Militants shot and severely injured a Sarpanch at village Krankshvan, Sopore this afternoon,Police said.
According to Police that 45 years old Sarpanch Khazir Mohammad Parry resident of village Krankshvan, Sopore was fired upon by militants when he was coming out from the local Masjid after offering Friday prayers. He was shifted to the Srinagar hospital for treatment. He has got severe injury in his mouth. Doctors are attending him.
Police and security forces have cordoned off the area. Sopore police has registered a case in this regard and the investigation has been started.
Meanwhile One person died while five other were injured in road traffic accidents across the valley.
Mohammad Ashraf Bhat son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Kralpora, Budgam was severely injured when he had taken his head out from the window of a swift car bearing registration number JK01N/7077 while vomiting. He was hit by an unknown load carrier at Kralpora, in the jurisdiction of police station Chadoora. He was shifted to hospital for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Sumo bearing registration number JK01K/9969 hit and injured a cyclist Shabir Ahmad Zadoo son of Ghulam Mohudin resident of Bhat Mohalla Nowgam, Sumbal at Bus Stand Nowgam, in the jurisdiction of police station Sumbal, Bandipora. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Sumbal Police has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, an unknown vehicle hit and injured a pedestrian, Rehman Teeli son-in-law of Abdul Rehman Teeli resident of Waskura, Ganderbal at Panzinarah Sumbal, in the jurisdiction of police station Sumbal, Bandipora. The injured was shifted to JVC Srinagar for treatment. Sumbal Police has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK04B/8007 and Innova vehicle bearing registration JK01T/0272 collided near Nilgrath National Highway, Sonamarg, in the jurisdiction of police station Sonamarg, resulting in injuries to the Sumo driver Irshad Ahmad Parry son of Bashir Ahmad resident of Check Kawoosa Magam, Budgam. The injured was shifted to Public Health Center Sonamarg. Sonamarg Police case has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, an unknown vehicle hit and injured a pedestrian near Fruit Mandi Parimpora, Srinagar. The injured was shifted to SKIMS, Soura for treatment. Parimpora Police has registered a case in this regard.
In a similar accident, a Maruti Car bearing registration number Jko1D/2168 hit and injured a lady, Hadiya daughter of Ghulam Mohammad Dar resident of Hyderpora, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Sadder, Srinagar. The injured lady was shifted to Hospital for treatment. Sadder Police has registered a case in this regard.
