Officers of Armed Forces visited Chitral.
CHITRAL: Officers of Army, Air Force and Navy of Pakistan as well as Officers from foreign countries visited Chitral on Thursday. They came here in two C-130 planes of Pakistan Air Force who were received by Commandant Chitral Scouts and district administration. They were accommodated in a local hotel where they were briefed by the administration as well as law enforcement agencies. All of them were of Brigadier and senior rank. They were rushed to hotel under tight security measurement where soldiers of Chitral Scouts and Chitral police have been deployed at each corner and both sides of the road. There were some ladies officers among the team. The officers were also briefed about the history and strategically point of view about Chitral. They were returned back in Pakistan Air Force planes. This was a routine study tour of these offices who coming here every year. Hence one thing was different that this year they were carried to hotel under strict security. All of these officers belongs to National Defense University Islamabad tem as well as foreign trainee who visited Chitral for a 4 hours visit and they were briefed about the area and people of Chitral.
