Kathmandu Nepal: Following a huge attention from the public sector, Prabhu Sah, Minister for land reform and management resigned from his position of minister on sunday. Prabhu Sah represented major ruling party United Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist). Sah was alleged of killing Hindu Yuba Sangh Chairman Kashinath Tiwari during Maoist week long shutdown program April-May 2011. Last year, two motorcycle-borne assailants gunned down Tiwari in broad daylight.
The Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal issued a statement stating that his party has decided to sack Prabhu Sah against the allegation of the murder and further the case has drawn attention towards an issue that has no priority in context of the constitution and peace process.
Sah was issued a warrant against his involvement of the murder case. His involvement in the murder based was based on the statement of Aman Kushwaha, who is in judicial custody. Aman has claimed that Sah masterminded the murder.
