Srinagar,September 5,(Scoop News)_Expressing his sorrow and grief over the loss of lives caused due to floods APHC leader, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq,Friday announced setting up of emergency relief centre at Mirwaiz Manzil in down town Srinagar.
Addressing a congregation,he appealed Awami Action Committee (AAC) workers and activists to stop their routine work and help the flood effected people in all possible ways.
Mirwaiz also offered Special Dua and Istigfaar to seek forgiveness from Allah.
Meanwhile, addressing the party worker of Youth AAC at Mirwaiz Manzil,APHC leader appealed people to get united in these times of crisis and help each other.
Mirwaiz along with other party leaders also visited the flood affected areas of Bemina area where he interacted with affected families showed his solidarity with them.
He appealed people to establish area relief committees to reach to the affected people to their concerned areas.
Mirwaiz said that due to the present prevailing weather situation in valley AAC has established a temporary control room where people can call at 2429813.
