Srinagar, March 7 (Scoop News)-A Swaraj Mazda vehicle of a private cement factory bearing registration number 6276/JK01F was set on fire by some miscreants, when driver Bilal Ahmad Khandy son of Abdul Aziz parked the vehicle near Wuyan as per routine,Police said.
The vehicle was partially damaged. Police has registered a case in this regard.
Police said that situation remained by and large peaceful across the valley. However, there were reports of stone pelting from some areas of Srinagar and elsewhere.
Curfew continued for the second day without relaxation in parts of Srinagar and some other places in the Kashmir Valley Thursday.
According to Police curfew was imposed on Wednesday morning in Police station areas of Nowhatta, Khanyar, M.R Ghanj, Rainawari, Safakadal, Zadibal, Kralkhud, Maisuma in Srinagar, Kulgam town, Baramulla town, Trehgam town and in Sopore.

According to Deputy Secretary, Public Service Commission, the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) (KAS Mains) which has commenced from March 02, 2013 and shall conclude on March 26, 2013 as per the already issued date sheet.
For the conduct of the said examination in Kashmir division examination centre has been set up at Government Amar Singh College, Srinagar where as many as 479 candidates shall appear in the CCE.
As per the communiqué of the divisional administration, the admit cards containing photographs of the candidates issued by the competent authority shall be treated as curfew passes so that the candidates do not face any inconvenience.

According to Chief Education Officer, Pulwama, all those candidates of the district having applied for the post of Lecturer (10+2) on contractual basis are informed to appear in the written test being held on March 09, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Higher Secondary School, Litter, Pulwama.
