Miscreants Damaged WAPDA Tower in Jerma Kohat

Police has arrested 18 alleged criminals including two proclaimed offenders on Sunday during search operation. DIG police Kohat region Mr. Abdullah Khan had directed Kohat, Karak and Hangu police staff to launch search operation aimed at arrest of criminals and suspects. On Sunday morning police had started its search operation in Raigi Shino Khel, Muhammad Zai, Jerma, Kharmato, Godi Banda, Kote, Latamber, Banda Daud Shah, Waranara, Lakhtai Banda, Karak Dana, Kotki,  and Bahadur Banda  suburban areas were encircle by police, 18 alleged criminals including two proclaimed offenders Hakeem Khan resident of Gurguri, and Jan Badshah resident of Tora Stana, were arrested during police search operation, collectively two Klashinkov, one Kalakov, two repeaters, five guns, four rifles, hundreds of cartridges, three kilo gram Cannabis two bottles of alcohol were recovered from the possession of arrested alleged criminals, cases against them were registered in their respective police stations.

 

WAPDA’s 132kv electricity Tower was partially damaged when was blown up with explosives during the night between Sunday and Saturday in Mangal Abad area of Jerma Kohat. Unknown miscreants had tied explosives in the base of the tower; two unexploded bombs tied with the said tower were diffused by Kohat police bomb disposal squad.

 

Kohat police is also searching for a dead body of Khaliq Mehmood resident of Kaghazai Kohat, whom had jumped into spillway of Tanda Dam Kohat on Sunday.
