Game two of the series and Phillies Cliff Lee did battle with the Cubs Matt Garza. Lee went six innings and allowed two runs, Garza seven innings one run. Both pitched well with Garza allowing the one run on just four hits, three walks, and five K’s. Cliff Lee allowed two runs on eight hits with no walks and six K’s.

Sean Marshall relieved Garza and Michael Stutes came in for Lee. Sean pitched two innings and allowed three runs on five hits, Stutes no runs on two hits.
Antonio Bastardo took over for Stutes in the bottom of the ninth, he struck out the side and preserves the win for Michael Stutes. Antoinio picks up his seventh save and Stutes is now 4-1 with the Phillies 4-2 win tonight.

The Phillies scored all four runs in the last two innings. Chase Utley had a two run double in the eighth to tie the game and Michael Martinez a two out, two run double in the ninth for the win.
Sean Marshall (5-4) gets the loss for the Cubs.

The Phillies hit the sixty win mark with todays win and are 60-36. Philadelphia is the first team in the majors to reach sixty and have the best record in the majors. The Cubs are now twenty games below .500 at 39-59.
