Game 5

St. Louis at Texas
The Cardinals scored first tonight, had to feel good after coming up empty in game four and losing 4-0.
In the second they used a fielding error by Rangers left fielder
David Murphy to help score a run and a single by Molina to go up 2-0. In typical Texas fashion the Rangers scored their first run on a solo shot by Mitch Moreland to cut the lead in half.

St. Louis had a chance to increase their lead in the fifth but Matt Holliday grounded out with the bases loaded to end the inning.
Texas tied the game with another solo shot this one from Adrian Beltre in the sixth inning. In the eighth it was Texas scoring again this time from the bat of Mike Napoli who stroked a two run double to put Texas ahead 4-2. That would be the end of the scoring and all Texas would need as they held on for the win and go ahead in the series 3-2.
Darren Oliver gets the win for Texas and Neftali Feliz the save. They were two of the five pitchers used to face the Cardinals.
St. Louis also used five pitchers with Octavio Dotel getting the loss.
The series now heads to St. Louis with Texas needing just one win and St. Louis having to win the final two games to win the 2011 World Series.
The teams have Tuesday off, with the series game six scheduled for Wednesday.
