Delhi, Jammu, Kashmir
Kerosene oil quota enhancement was not less than fighting for Azadi. Kashmiri leaders, businessmen and separatists started crusade together and achieved the target. They resorted to their old age formula of pressure tactics as they used to do during the Congress led UPA regime. But, people in country are stunned by this move of BJP led government in Delhi. BJP has acted as ministries act in banana countries. BJP had made people of this country merely a particle of voting and nothing more than that.
Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has not bothered even for saying that as to why department is curtailing the quota of some states including Jammu and Kashmir. Above that ministry has not even bothered in explaining that as to why the self made orders had been reversed. People had been in a state of distress by such moves of BJP under the leadership of PM Narinder Modi.
As there are elections ensuing in Delhi and Bihar the work culture of so called ministers of NDA would definitely hamper the position of BJP. They (ministers) should at least know as to what are they doing and for what purpose are they endorsing orders and the reversal of the same. If such a move issuing orders and reversing it back on the next Friday would only destroy the image of BJP and all the proposed missions would dash to ground for the party. So it needs that all the ministries make sure that what exactly they are doing and what the results it should yield for them in the coming future.
Neither employment, nor any sort of relief to commoners and above all the misunderstandings in procedure of official duty in various ministries would hamper BJP, it should revisit its commitment and policy to start afresh otherwise only four years and few months would not take too much time to get concluded.
Meanwhile, after raising dramatic hue and cry, for which they are masters, Union Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has increased the kerosene oil allocation for the fourth quarter (January-March, 2015) for Kashmiris. “The allocation has been increased by 4512 KL following the Governor’s request to the Ministry of Petroleum, Government of India, in this regard,” official said. Governor has already directed the Divisional Commissioners Kashmir and Jammu to closely monitor both availability and prices of all essential commodities, including kerosene oil, so that no hardship is caused to the consumers, the spokesman added.
