It’s Slumdog Millionaire time again after the Golden Globe awards. The movie has got two more awards recently. The movie awarded this time for best film and best music score during the BAFTA awards ceremony in London. Slumdog Millionaire has won seven prestigious awards globally since the time of its release.
The movie reel out the rags-to-riches story of a kid from a Mumbai slum, the movie also clinched awards for best director (Danny Boyle), best film, best adapted screen play (Simon Beaufoy), best music (AR Rahman), best editing (Chris Dickens) and best sound (Richard Pryke, Tom Sayers, Ian Tapp, Resul Pookutty, Glen Freemantle), best cinematography (Anthony Dod Mantle). The BAFTA awards will go a long way in boosting the chances of Slumdog Millionaire at the Oscars on February 22.
