More than 100 people killed and near to 500 people got injured in a stampede at Chamunda Devi Temple situated in a hillock at Mehrangarh fort in Jodhpur. The stampede took place at 5:30 am on Tuesday. Initial reports suggest that the stampede occurred after a wall collapsed near the entry gate which was followed by the rumour of a bomb explosion which caused the chaos among the people.
