The most talked about open source web browser is out since 2 September 2008 and according to Web Metrics Providers including Net Application Inc and StatCounter, Chrome had got 1 percent of the market share in less than 24 hours of debut.
This could sent a very alarming signal to the current Internet web browser providers like Microsoft and Mozilla. People are switching from their Internet Explorer and Firefox to Google Chrome. Being at its early beta stage, the temptation of trying a Google product is just too much to resist.
While it is still very early to say that Google Chrome (BETA) for Windows will take over the significant percentage of market share, it does seems to be gaining very strong momentum towards that direction.
