A mentally ill mother along with her three daughters jumps into the Padma River to commit suicide two days ago. Two daughters died on that incident. This family lived at Khalifachor, situated at Narayanpur Union under Chapai Nobabgong district. The local people rescued tow dead bodies Mahmuda Khatun, who was only 2.5 years of age, and Hameda Khatun, who was 6 years of age.
The UP Chairman of Narayanpur Alamgir Kabir said that, at Thursday night that lady whose name is Aktara Begum, also known as mentally ill across the village, jumped to the Padma River along with her three children to commit suicide. At that time some fishermen were around there and they somehow managed to rescue the mother and her elder daughter, but the second and third child gone missing. After a lot of searching corpse of those two little children were found at 1 pm local time on Friday.
