At least 20 people were killed and 55 more injured by a motor bomb explosion in Khaybar Pakhtonkhwa province of Pakistan on Tuesday 2010-09-07.
Hospital sources said that the incident took place when a double cabin car full of explosives was detonated in front of a police station in police line area of Kohat district of Khaybar Pakhtonkhwa province.
Some 20 people including nine women and two children were killed and 55 others were injured source added.
The rescue teams are helping, ambulances are here and emergency is announced in the hospitals.
According to the residents the explosion was so big , it almost destroyed some 25 houses and the targeted police station.
Police officials told media persons that a number of police residential buildings are demolished and some people are still under debris.
The security personals still in doubt whether it was a suicide attack or a remote control bomb planted in the car.
No one claimed responsibility of this attack.
It is important to mention that yesterday in Lakhi Marwat an other city of Khayber Pakhtonkhwa a suicide attack killed 19 injured as many including police and civilians.
A new series of blasts and attacks is began in Pakistan’s Khaybar Pakhtonkhwa province which killed tens of people injured hundreds.
At the same time Pakistan is facing flood disaster during form almost last one and half month during which the Pakistani officials showed their fear of increasing of militancy in the province.
