Jammu, November 04(Scoop News) – The Chief Secretary, Madhav Lal today visited Civil Secretariat Complex Jammu and took stock of the preparations made for the opening of offices in the winter capital from tomorrow.
Accompanied by Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Mr B B Viyas, Divisional Commissioner, Jammu Pardeep Gupta, Director Information, Zaffar Ahmed, Director Estates, Mr Ramesh Koul, Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Mr Snajeev Verma and other senior functionaries, the Chief Secretary also visited the Government Quarters and inspected the renovation work and other arrangements made for the comfortable stay of the move employees.
Earlier, the Chief Secretary took a round of the Civil Secretariat Complex and inspected the provision of furniture and other felicities put in place at the offices of various departments. He also inspected the renovation and other works taken up at the Complex ahead of the Darba move.
The Chief Secretary asked the concerned functionaries to ensure proper functioning of computers, internet and other facilities to ensure smooth work in every office of the Secretariat. He also asked for ensuring uninterrupted power and water supply to each block, besides proper cleanliness in the premises of the civil Secretariat.
Later, the team of officer visited Atta Amar Singh Panjthirthi, Company Bagh Jewel Chowk and BC Road Quarters and took stock of the arrangements. The Chief Secretary asked the Estate Department functionaries to ensure better living conditions at all the Government quarter complexes allotted to the Move employees.
