Sardar Hussain of PPP elected MPA from PK90 defeating Ghulam Muhammad of APML.

CHITRAL: In by election on 7 polling stations of PK 90 Sardar Hussain of Pakistan People’s Party elected as Member Provincial assembly (MPA) by getting 1778 votes while his rival candidate Haji Ghulam Muhammad of All Pakistan Muslim League get 1526 votes. According to election commission of Pakistan number of registered voters are 5032 while 3421 votes casted. As well as 64 votes were rejected and its turn out rate remain 67.9849.
In general election of May 2013 Haji Ghulam Muhammad success with only 7 votes (leading) whose succession was challenged by Sardar Hussain of Pakistan Peoples Party and election commission decided of re election on 7 polling stations. As a result Sardar Hussain elected as MPA from PK90 Chitral II.
Addressing a huge crowd of party workers and people coming from different parts of Chitral Sardar Hussain said that PPP is a democratic party always support poor people. He said that he contest election only to serve his people and this neglected area. Improvements in communication systems, water supply schemes, irrigation channel as well as eliminating of unemployment from their area are his prioritize plan.
He said that he will never intervene in government departments and will strictly follow merit policy. He said that we never spare any loophole for embezzlement and never forgive corrupt officials who looting national exchequers. He said that he will try of his best to get sufficient fund for his constituency as well as CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah also have assured his for financial support. He thanked all of his voters who trust upon him and assured them that he will never disappoint them.
MPA Saleem Khan and other leaders of PPP also spoke on the occasion. They thanked all voters and residents of the area for their support and assured of bringing green revolution in the area. A large number of people from entire district visiting residence of Srdar Hussain newly elected MPA who felicitating him and expressing their great gratitude and pleasure on his succession.
It is worth to mention here that his rival candidate Ghulam Muhammad, MNA Chitral Iftikharuddin president APML Khalid Parvez also visited his home and congratulated him on his success which is a good trend of mutual harmony.
