Mufti Syed & Mehbooba condoles Shyam Kaul’s death

Srinagar,January 07 (Scoop News) –Peoples Democratic Party has condoled the death of veteran journalist Shyam Kaul who passed away in New Delhi today. The party patron and former Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and president Mehbooba Mufti have conveyed their deep sympathies to the family of Shyam Ji as he was affectionately known.

In a statement the party leaders said Shyam Kaul had made a significant contribution to news reporting from Kashmir during his association with Radio and print media. His demise, they said would make his numerous friends feel bereaved.

The party chief spokesperson Naeem Akhtar has also expressed sorrow at the passing away of Shyam Kaul a leading journalist who reported for decades from Srinagar. He has expressed solidarity with the bereaved family, especially Mrs Kaul.
