In the first phase, the service will be available between Nariman Point and Borivali. There will be six stops and they are :
- Borivali
- Marve
- Versova
- Juhu
- Bandra
- Nariman Point.
Initially the project will use hovercrafts and later catamarans will be pressed into service. The capacity of the hovercrafts will be a minimum of 200 seats.
The distance between Nariman point and Borivali is estimated to be 35 to 40 km. Estimated time taken will be around 45 minutes. The travel cost will be Rs 2 per km and a ride from Nariman point to Borivali will cost around Rs 80.
