Murali and Mendis just pulled out India, SL win by innings and 239 runs

Two Sri Lankan spinner great Muralidharan and new surprise Mendis just kicked out strong Indian batting line up to strict them on just 138 runs in the second innings of first test match of Idea cup.

India conceded the huge defeat of innings and 239 runs and SL lead the 3 match series by 1-0. It was the biggest win for Sri Lanka against India.  

After being all out at 223 in the first innings India put to follow on and just broken into the attack of some awesome spin bowling of Murali (6/26) and Mendis (4/60).

None of the Indian batsmen managed to consolidate the innings. Gautam had a good start but wasn’t able to carry his little fight (43 runs).

Muttiah Muralidharan was adjudged man of the match for his killing stuff through the Indian batting line up with his eleven wickets the match.
