Musical Concert on arrival of Spring Season

 43 rooms including Middle School gutted in Chitral. 

 
CHITRAL: As well as two houses consisting more than 43 rooms including were burnt by short circuit at Chitral. According to Police station Ayun the first incidence was occurred at Birir village of Kalash valley where house of Abdul Razaq son of Sher Nawaz resident of Birir catch fire due to some unknown reason as a result 33 rooms of his house were gutted. One government middle school for boys was also badly affected by fire adjacent to the house. The local volunteers of the area overcome on fire and stopped the fire from spreading. The second incidence occurred at  Drosh some 45 KM from here where house of Abdullah son of Muhammad Mir afghan refugee resident of Langa village catch fire due to short circuit as a result 10 rooms of his house were burnt and goods worth million of rupees in both incidence converted in ashes. According to Drosh Police house of Abdullah afghan refugee was gutted by short circuit hence local people (volunteers) extinguished the fire. Hence no human loss was reported until filling of this report. 
 
Musical Concert on arrival of spring season held. 
 
A musical concert was held at Governor cottage Chitral organized by Tehsil Municipal Amdinistration to welcome spring season. Dr. Nazir Ahmad medical superintendent of DHQ Hospital was chief guest on the occasion while officers of line department and representatives of civil societies also participated the musical night. Local artists enthrall the audience (viewers) through their arts which was highly appreciated. Addressing on the occasion Tehsil Nazim Chitral Sartaj Ahmad Khan said that TMA arranged this colorful Evening to welcome Spring season and to see off winter.
