The 36 year old Srilankan spinner Muttiah Muralidharan have world record of most ODI wickets.He had already highest wicket taker in Tests (769 wickets in 125 matches).
In Thursday, He collected 503rd wicket against India.The Pakistan bowler Wasim Akram had 502 wickets in 356 matches in ODI and retired from international cricket in 2003. But, Murali breaks the record yesterday. So, Akram greeted murali for breaking his world record.
He said, "I am really happy for this event. He is a fantastic bowler. After 3 years, if he will played then he will taken 1000 wickets in Tests and 600 wickets in ODI .It is a real tough to break that record for any other bowler".
