My Last Visions, the upcoming short film directed by Varun Mehta and presented by his ‘Wiz Studio’ has been shortlisted in one of the top films to be screened at this year’s PSA Film Festival at Chennai. The Film Festival has been organized by Don Bosco Institute of Communication Arts. The festival is annually scheduled by them showcasing films regarding the issue of human rights, health, media, children etc.
When asked about this to Varun he replied – “I am very happy on this achievement as this is our first Independent venture of Wiz Motion Studio this year. Currently it is still in post production for some changes, but we prepared stuff which we can send across to give the film a better exposure. The film was prepared as a PSA and we sent it as another title ‘Protect our World’. It will be ready soon and shall be travelling across the Nation”. The film deals with the issue of ‘Child Safety’.
Recently also Varun’s Short film ‘The Art of Farming’ won the best public film award at an International Short Film Contest. Varun’s film received the highest votes throughout the competition. When we asked about his views on the success of a short film, he said – “To me, the most important is the Idea, Execution comes second, If your Idea is excellent and noble, you can take it reach new heights. Execution is also important to visualise your Idea in the correct manner”
