Naomi Wolf is the latest liberal columnist who has garnered attention for vocalizing her negative opinion of Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin.
When you thought the liberal media has said every bad thing there is to say about Sarah Palin, Naomi Wolf found a new way to attack the Alaskan Governor in her Huffington Post article. Wolf likened Palin to Evita Peron, the first lady and politician in Argentina during the late 1940’s and early 1950’s. The likeness, Naomi Wolf says, is that both she and Palin are pretty, likable packages that block an autocratic, "police" state. "I believe the Rove-Cheney cabal is using Sarah Palin as a stalking horse," Naomi Wolf writes, "an Evita figure to put a popular, populist face on the coming police state and be the talk show hostess for the end of elections as we know them."
Wolf says Palin is nothing more than a puppet for the Bush/Cheney/Rove administration, echoing their dogmas, not those of her running mate John McCain. Wolf recollects how Palin has connected the 9/11 attacks to Iraq and fade fun of those opposed to torture of prisoners of war, even though John McCain is also opposed to torture. "Finally," Wolf writes, "a new report shows that there are dozens of Bush and Rove operatives surrounding Sarah Palin and orchestrating her every move."
Who will be the next Palin-basher to follow in the footsteps of Wolf, Heather Mallick and Cintra Wilson?
