NASA launched STS-125, its fifth Hubble Telescope enhancement mission yesterday, with Atlantis lifting off on schedule at 2:01 PM EST. The view pictured is from the Area 39 Press Site at the water, the closest point a person not on the mission can stand. The Press Site is about two miles from the launch pad, and adjacent to Mission Control.
