Jammu, February 14, (Scoop News)- Rejecting the recent Survey of Parliament election 2014 conducted by India TV, Times Now and C Voter, as totally fabricated, politically motivated by vested interests and merely based on conjectures and surmises as regard the Jammu and Kashmir State is concerned, Rattan Lal Gupta State Vice President J&K National Conference Jammu said that the J&K National Conference Shall retain all the four Parliament Seats which it is presently holding, and if the election will be fought in coalition with congress all the six seats will be won by the coalition.
While hailing various achievements of the coalition government led by young and dynamic Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Sh. Gupta said the creation of 659 new administration units and the decision of the Chief Minister to constitute a commission to look into the remaining genuine demands for further administrative units is a landmark and historical step which will go a long way in taking administration to the door step of the people specially to the far flung areas of the state. Likewise holding of Panchayats elections after 33 years and now amending the J&K Panchayat Raj Act with reference to 73rd constitutional amendment thus paving way to complete the election of BDC’s and District Planning and development councils in order to empower the people at the gross root level. This Shows the commitment of National Conference as its great leader Sher –I- Kashmir late Sheikh Mohd. Abdullah said that “SardariAwam Ka Haq Hai”
Mr. Gupta asserted that the coalition government has done marvelous work in all fields specially in power sector, Medicare sector , Roads and buildings sector , Public health, education , irrigation , agriculture and implemented so many schemes for unemployed youths and weaker section of the state. Even the budget presented by the Finance Minister in the J&K Assembly is a people friendly and pro poor budget which specially focus on tourism sector, industries, farmers and also for welfare of the women. Mr. Gupta further stressed that various landmark steps taken by the coalition government have been first of their kind and have greatly helped in ensuring a transparent and corruption free government .The establishment of SIC , giving right to information , CVC , Accountability commission and Public safety guarantee and are a few steps this direction .The launching of schemes like SKWEPY , Udaan and Umeed , Himayat have helped the youth of the state to a large extant.
Such steps of the government to empower people have created a grounds well of support for National Conference and established an Omar Abdullah have in the state.
Mr. Gupta appealed to the rank and file of the National Conference to work hard for coming Parliament and Assembly so that the nefarious designs of the PDP and BJP are defeated and the common communal agenda of both the parties to weaken the state is not allow to succeed .
