Chatroo/Jammu, June 19 (Scoop News) – Senior Congress Leader and MLA Inderwal G M Saroori conducted a public Darbar at Chatroo and dare National Conference Chief Spokesperson as mentally bankrupt who in utter frustration is issuing statement out of his whims.
While terming his allegation as baseless Mr. Saroori said that National Chief Spokesperson and Provisional President of Jammu instead of visiting earthquake affected people arranged close door meetings with their party workers for selecting candidates for upcoming elections. While taking a dig on so called NC Spokesperson Mr. Saroori said that NC is not updated that out of 10,000 tents 4,200 tents have been disbursed by Local Administration in Doda and Kishtwar district and Ghulam Nabi Azad as chairman of Indian Red Cross sanctioned 1,000 tents to the affected families.
Mr. Saroori also made it clear that Congress would emerge very strong in the Assembly elections and form Government in Jammu and Kashmir on its own and that too without any Alliance with any party and said Jenab Ghulam Nabi Azad will be the next Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir. He asked General Public and Party workers to gear up for upcoming elections and to vote for Congress candidates, so that the Congress will form next Government at its own.
Mr. Saroori said National Conference is losing ground in Jammu and Kashmir and the utterance of Chief Spokesperson of NC is outcome of frustration as the hollow slogans of Autonomy has turned futile. On the issue of corruption Mr. Saroori said land grabbing case be handed over to Central Bureau Investigation (CBI) and the names of person involved in the same be made public. He suggested that National Conference need introspection of it than leveling allegations over other.
“People are well aware about what is happening in the government. People are supreme and will cast their vote in favour of the Congress party. They know everything and are best judge,” Saroori said.
Besides Sarpanches, Panches, Congress Party Workers, Tehsildar Chatroo Mohsin Ali, Naib Tehsildar Irshad Ahmed, BDO Chatroo Seema Parihar, Executive Engineer Chatroo Mohammad Ashraf Gilkar, Dy Sp Syed Majid and other officers of Tehsil Chatroo.
All the Sarpanches and Party workers highlighted the burning problems faced by the general public like non-availability of funds of all developmental works and also called for the construction of earthquake resistant residential houses in seismic zones of Chenab Valley areas like Chatroo, Bunjwah, Thakrie, Doda, Bhaderwah, Thathri, Ramban and Kishtwar. They informed Mr. Saroori that due to non-availibality of funds work of various developmental works are going at a very slow pace beside free ration to earthquake victims on equal basis, medical facilities in the region, repairing of roads and water supply schemes etc.
While interacting with the people, Mr. Saroori said he will leave no stone unturned for redressal of their genuine demands. Mr. Saroori gave on spot instructions to PHE and Rural Development departments to address the problems of people at the earliest. He directed the officials to hold inquiry into poor condition of SSA school buildings.
Mr. Saroori also urged CAPD Minister Choudhary Mohammad Ramzan to enhance the ration scale from 35kgs to 50 Kgs beside ration should be provided as per scale of 2011 census not as 2001 census.
Later Mr. Saroori interacted with public at Sinthan top and inspected Huts at Sinthan Top constructed by Beacon. He directed PWD (R&B) department to complete their Hut at an earliest. Assistant Engineer Beacon Raj Kumar, Junior Engineer Beacon Sadhvir Singh and Harmanth Gora were present on the occasion.
