New Delhi has not shared any evidence with Interpol; Interpol chief

Islamabad, PAKISTAN: A team of Global Police agency Interpol is in Pakistan these days, to investigate the mayhems behind the Mumbai carnage three weeks back; they are also holding meetings with the Pakistani officials at Islamabad.

In a press conference, the chief of the agency, Ronald Noble, appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in the ongoing war on terror and said that Pakistan is a victim of terrorism too.

He also added that India has not shared any evidence with the agency so far.

He urged the international community to help Pakistan in the fight against terrorism, that is a global war and Pakistan needs a strong support to prevent itself and the world as well.

Mr. Nobel met with the head of Pakistan’s federal investigation agency and the advisor to the interior, Rehman Malik and discussed the Mumbai attacks and the attacks on the Marriott hotel Islamabad.

Against the mounting pressure from New Delhi and international community Pakistan responded swiftly and banned a welfare and charity organization, Jamat-u-Dawa, and sealed its offices, on the other hand, there is anger seen among the people of Pakistan against this action.
