Newly-elected MLCs administered oath for J&K Legislative Council

  Jammu, March 17 – Deputy Chairman, J&K Legislative Council, Arvinder Singh Micky today administered oath of office to the six newly-elected Members of the Upper House.

The Members include Ajat Shatru Singh, Khalid Najeeb Soharwardy, Vijay Bakaya, B. R. Kundal, Syed Asgar Ali and Syed Mohammad Rafiq.

            All Members took oath in English, except Syed Mohammad Rafiq who took oath in pahari language.

            Many legislators, prominent political leaders and representatives of employees’ unions were present on the occasion.
