The NFL Wild Card Weekend is a few days away so a quick peek at the games to be played Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday ths AFC South Indianapolis Colts travel to San Diego to faces the Chargers representing the AFC West. The Colts started slow but finished strong with a 12-4 record. San Diego had an up and down season with bad breaks and calls along the way but finished with a 8-8 record . A solid win over Denver Sunday let everyone know they are ready for the playoffs.
Sunday the AFC will pit the Baltimore Ravens against the Miami Dolphins. The Ravens finished the season with a 11-5 record and the Dolphins turned their season from last year upside down with a record of 11-5 . The AFC North Ravens finished the season with a 8-0 record and are ready to make it nine. The AFC East title belongs to the Dolphins and they have won nine of their last ten games.
The NFC Saturday game features the Atlanta Falcons in Arizona to take on the Cardinals. The NFC South Falcons finished the year with a 11-5 record and another team that turned last years record around. All done with a rookie Quarterback, Matt Ryan and a rookie Head Coach, Mike Smith. The NFC West Cardinals ended the year at 9-7 and will have their hands full against the Falcons.
Sunday the NFC will pit the Eagles against the Vikings. The Philadelphia Eagles went through a minor miracle Sunday having to wait to see if two other teams would lose and then win their game. Tampa lost, the Bears lost and the Eagles destroyed the Dallas Cowboys. Miracle accomplished and now they visit the Vikings. The NFC North Vikings were 10-6 and the NFC East Eagles finished 9-5-1. This could be the game of the weekend!
