Nicklas Bendtner: Use me or lose me

Nicklas Bendtner has fired a warning saying he will quit Arsenal if he fails to establish himself as a first-team regular.

The Danish striker is third in the Gunner’s pecking order for strikers, behind Emmanuel Adebayor and Robin van Persie.

However, Bendtner is adamant that he should be one of the first names on the team sheet week in, week out.

"It is quite clear that my priority is to play football," said the 20-year-old. "I know what I want. If it doesn’t happen at Arsenal, I will move away from the club."

"I want to spend the whole remainder of my career playing, wherever I am – I want to play solid."

Bendtner is rumoured to be a target for Bayern Munich, and according to the Italian media, a whole assortment of Serie A clubs.

But the Gunners’ third striker insists that North London is the only place he wants to be, for now.

"I am not even across all the rumours because I am an Arsenal player and appreciate the club very much," said the Dane. "I hope I can be here for a long time yet. For me, Arsenal are a dream club."
