Authorized members of governmental organized association of Myanmar movies have announced yesterday that there must be prohibited or red-taped to show about poor living and socio-economic standard of Myanmar people and status of poverty in Myanmar, in local movies. It’s that not to creat stories about poor men and women and even children and poor town, poor villages in Myanmar .
Production of Myanmar movie has been lowered since reign of Military Government, about more than 10 years.
Ceremony of The Best Myanmar Movie Award for the year 2007 has been finished soon, held at Nay-Pyi-Taw the new city, and the production is only 10 no. of movie for the whole year 2007.
There has been surprised that in 2007 The Best, no actresses could be awarded. While Kate Winslet has won Oscar Award, there is no lady actress won in Myanmar.
