Jammu,August 27, (Scoop News)- Avoiding the responsibility and shifting the blame has been the favoured past-time of NC-Congress coalition government of the state said BJP State Spokesperson Lalit Moza (Adv.) while commenting on the statement of the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah blaming the central government for the miseries of the border people and victims of the recent Pak firing.
He said that providing safe shelters, provision of reasonable amenities in these shelters during the period when the luckless border people have to flee their homes is that of the state government. It is the bounden duty of the state government to ensure survival and reasonable living conditions of these people during the period when they get displaced from their homes due to Pak firing. The assertion of the Chief Minister that five Central government ministers who recently visited the state did not go to see the victims of Pak firing as misleading and meant to deflect and avoid his unconcern and inability to do the needful for these people and should not have been politicking on the issue. Moza said that BJP National President Amit Shah, Union MoS PMO Dr. Jitendra Singh, National General Secretary Jagat Prakash Nadda accompanied by the galaxy of state BJP leadership have visited and boosted the morale of these unfortunate people.
Lalit Moza reminded the state government of its not having fulfilled the promise and the assurance that the border people shall be provided small plots of land away from the border in the interior for residential purposes. These people have not only suffered damage to their properties but have also suffered loss of life and livestock. Instead of playing this blame game, the chief minister should concentrate on ameliorating the hardship of the border people. Moza praised the struggle of the BJP Sharnarthi Cell for highlighting the overall discrimination with the refugees a large number of whom are residing in these border areas.
