Corinthians coach Mano Menezes insists former Brazilian international Ronaldo will not have any special privileges.
The team from Sao Paulo state won Serie B last season to return to the top flight in 2009, but before the Campeonato Brasileiro the ‘Timao’ will take part in the Paulista state championship in January.
Menezes is very sure about Ronaldo’s position in the squad and said: "The big players and the professionals don’t need special privileges. That message is for Ronaldo and for the entire squad.
"If Ronaldo did not have the intention of playing high-level football and returning to the World Cup, Corinthians would never have taken him on."
However, Mano Menezes is cautious about the possibility of Ronaldo’s debut: "We have to be very careful. We want Ronaldo to make a full recovery. Maybe in a few days we can have a prediction about when he can return to the field."
