Police obtained warrants to search Nancy Cooper’s house and cars after she was murdered over the weekend in Cary, North Carolina. Police also obtained forensic evidence from Nancy Cooper’s husband in what has thus-far been a fruitless investigation.
Nancy Cooper was last seen alive on Saturday morning by her husband as she left their home to go for a jog. On Tuesday, a man found her body in a storm water retention pond and called police. They are treating Nancy Cooper’s death as a homicide and it was not a random act of violence nor an isolated incident.
There are no suspects so far in the Nancy Cooper murder investigation. Her husband, Brad Cooper, has not been present at two press conferences held by Cary police and the Cooper family. He admitted that he and his wife were having problems with their marriage. Nancy Cooper leaves behind two young children.
