Not a Double Dip, But a Never Left Recession

For months and months we have been hearing about the "recovering" economy.  Lawmaker’s have been saying the economy is looking modestly stronger.  Today, on cnbc.com, I was reading that the housing market is heading into a double dip recession.  Wait a minute, double dip, I hadn’t thought we left the first dip yet.  Even though, for months, the "experts" have been saying the economy is on track for a slow, but, full recovery I don’t know anybody who has felt the supposed "recovery".

I was digging around a little (ok, it didn’t take much) and noticed that the only time the economy looked to be recovering was during stimulus spending.  Everytime a program ran out of money that sector of the economy collapsed once again.  So there was never really a recovery taking place.  Government spending our tax dollars to replace the lost income from us not spending our money doesn’t solve anything.  I’ve said before that all of this "recovery" has been based on non-circulating money.  It was created by presses not genuine income.  It’s money that is not there to spend, wait, it’s money that’s not even there in general.  I find that when I’m broke the only way to solve my problems are to cut my spending.  I’d like to print money to cover my debts but that would be illegal for me.  Odd than, how our government can print money that’s never been earned to get out of debt.

There is the fact that a lot of money has been borrowed but isn’t most the rest of the world going broke to.  So where is there money coming from?  No logical answer can fill in the blanks here.

I strayed a little off topic but it all ties into the point that you can’t recover from a recession based on monopoly money.  You need real money to recover.  In saying that, the economy has not been recovering from this recession/depression.  There is no double dip happening because we never left the first one.  Fake money just played a magic trick on us.  It gave us the illusion things were improving while in reality there is not even a recovery in sight.  No light at the end of the tunnel.  Government spending needs to be cut, our "fearless" leaders need to face the truth, our penniless pockets can’t get any emptier, their ideas are failing us, and we are suffering because they refuse to try a different tactic.  Show some compromise and do whats right quit defying the American people and show you care.  Obama was supposed to change the uncaring, unfriendly aura of the government.  He’s only succeeded in changing it from unfriendly and uncaring into an uglier beast with outlandishly overeaching power and control.
