Two (2) hours from now, there will be a book launching of "NOT BY POWER OR WEALTH ALONE" by JOVITO R. SALONGA with Former Chief Justice Artemio V. Panganiban as the Guest Speaker. It will be held at the Lyceum of the Philippines University, Intramuros, Manila, today.
The book launching was a success! Many prominent men were present. To name a few… Justice Vicente V. Mendoza, Sen. Santanina Rasul, Sen. Franklin Drilon, and Sen. Joker Arroyo. Last, but not the least, his law firm partner Honorable Sedfrey Ordonez was also present.
Senator Salonga talked about the summary per chapter of the book wherein lots of verses taken from the Holy Bible as his lifetime guide were mentioned in his quotations. Truly GOD wanted him to live longer to correct his erring countrymen, most especially the elected ones.
This book’s a very timely one for the author’s one of this year’s Ramon Magsaysay Awardees… for Integrity and Government Service.
